No More Matsu

I was introduced to No More Mat-su, a campaign to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault in The Valley, through my high school rotary interact club. The focus of the campaign was to raise awareness specifically among younger audiences, like high school and middle school level students. The organizers wanted it to be youth-led.

I began regularly attending meetings and contributed to the planning of their third annual No More Mat-su event. I was thrilled to be asked to be the photographer. The event was held at the Glenn Massey Theater and there were booths with helpful resources, two amazing guest speakers, awards for the creative arts contest, bingo, cookies, and coffee.

There was also a "Tea is for Consent" skit performance.  You can watch the YouTube video that inspired the skit at this link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fGoWLWS4-kU
